CRIF Ai Agent (ChatBOT) Terms of Use

The virtual chatbot CRIF Ai Agent (hereinafter “Chatbot”) is designed to assist You (hereinafter “You” or User”) in navigating the website and accessing information efficiently regarding the Business Information reports deliverable via SkyMinder (hereinafter “Service”).

The Chatbot refers to an AI-driven software application designed to simulate human conversation via text or speech interfaces. Its primary goal is to provide helpful responses and guidance to User queries relating the contents included in reports obtained through the Service to get summaries and insights.

AI generated content may be incorrect.

By using the Chatbot, You acknowledge their acceptance of these Terms of Use (hereinafter “Terms”) and agree to abide by them. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Chatbot. If You use the Chatbot on behalf of a legal entity, you represent and acknowledge that you are authorised to legally bind that entity to these Terms.

You declare that You are aware and accept that the chatbot is virtual and that by using it you are not interacting with a physical person

1.       Usage

1.1 The use of the chatbot is permitted within the following limits.

  1. Respectful Interaction: Users are encouraged to engage with the Chatbot in a respectful manner, refraining from any abusive language or inappropriate behavior.
  2. Query Relevance: Ask questions or seek assistance related to the contents included in reports obtained through the Service to get summaries and insights. The Chatbot is not equipped to address personal, sensitive, or confidential matters, and in general to respond on topics other than such […].
  3. Language and Tone: Maintain a polite and appropriate language and tone during interactions with the Chatbot.
  4. Limits of Assistance: Understand that the Chatbot’s capabilities are limited to the scope of […]. For complex or specialized queries, consider contacting relevant support channels or seeking additional resources.

1.2 You are fully responsible for the use of the Chatbot. You must comply with and act in accordance with all instructions, documentation, systems, software and other requirements as stated on and/or made available by CRIF in relation to the Chatbot.

1.3 You must comply with all legal requirements and refrain from creating and/or uploading content that is unlawful or otherwise objectionable, or that may harm CRIF’s reputation or the integrity of the community of users, or that is intended to deceive or intentionally misinform, including through false advertising or the use of subliminal techniques to manipulate behaviour in a harmful way. You shall not (and shall have no right to):

  • alter or remove any copyright, trademark, trade name or other proprietary notices, legends, symbols or labels appearing on or in the Chatbot or any reproduction thereof;
  • Modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, publish, lease, sell, license, create derivative works from or use any content on the Chatbot for any other purpose than in accordance with these Terms;
  • Damage or otherwise negatively affect the operation and security of, or attempt unauthorised access to, CRIF’s services or systems and/or to circumvent any security measures or technical limitations;
  • Decompile, reconstruct or reverse engineer any software, code or test data on the Chatbot or introduce any viruses on the Chatbot;
  • use the Chatbot, or any associated data or content, to extract, scrape or otherwise deconstruct any CRIF data, information or content, for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial;
  • use the Chatbot or any associated data or content in any manner or for any purpose that violates any Law or any right of any person, including but not limited to any Intellectual Property Rights or rights of privacy;
  • Use the Chatbot for scalability tests;
  • otherwise use or exploit the Chatbot for any purpose other than as expressly permitted by these Terms.

2.       Content requirements

2.1 We prohibit the use of the Chatbot for generating content that can inflict harm on individuals or society.

2.2 We also prohibit content that:

-          Promote any illegal activity, or advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act.

-          describes, features, or promotes child sexual exploitation or abuse, whether or not prohibited by law;

-          describes or is used for purposes of grooming of children.

-          describes, features, or promotes non-consensual intimate activity.

-          describes, features, or promotes, or is used for, purposes of solicitation of commercial sexual activity and sexual services. This includes encouragement and coordination of real sexual activity.

-          attacks, denigrates, intimidates, degrades, targets, or excludes individuals or groups on the basis of traits such as actual or perceived race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, age, disability status, caste, or any other characteristic that is associated with systemic prejudice or marginalization.

-          targets individual(s) or group(s) with threats, intimidation, insults, degrading or demeaning language or images, promotion of physical harm, or other abusive behavior such as stalking.

-          is intentionally deceptive and likely to adversely affect the public interest, including deceptive or untrue content relating to health, safety, election integrity, or civic participation. We also prohibit inauthentic interactions, such as fake accounts, automated inauthentic activity, impersonation to gain unauthorized information or privileges, and claims to be from any person, company, government body, or entity without explicit permission to make that representation.

3.    Disclaimers

3.1 The Chatbot may provide incomplete or incorrect output.

You should not rely on output from the Chatbot as the deliverable of the Service, which is governed solely under the relevant service agreement,  as a source of information, or as a substitute for professional advice. CRIF assumes no liability or responsibility for any inaccurate or incomplete information or claims that may result from reliance on such information. You must evaluate output for accuracy and appropriateness for Your use case.

3.2 Use of the Chatbot is at Your own risk. You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information or other content available on the Chatbot.

3.3 THE CHATBOT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. SUCH INFORMATION IS PROVIDED WITHOUT REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

NEITHER CRIF NOR ANY OF ITS CURRENT AND FORMER AFFILIATES EMPLOYEES, SUCCESSORS OR ASSIGNS REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE CHATBOT WILL BE AVAILABLE, ACCESSIBLE, UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT OR ERROR-FREE. YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT COMPUTER NETWORK-BASED SERVICES MAY BE SUBJECT TO OUTAGES, INTERRUPTIONS, ATTACKS BY THIRD PARTIES AND DELAY OCCURRENCES. CRIF SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS, WARRANTIES, AND CONDITIONS WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY STATUTE, OPERATION OF LAW, USAGE OF TRADE, COURSE OF DEALING, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR TITLE.
