CRIBIS Corp. is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build users’ trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. This covers the site www.skyminder.com. Because this web site wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe. What This Privacy Notice Covers

This privacy notice covers the treatment of personally identifiable information that CRIBIS collects when you, the end user, are on the CRIBIS Web site, as well as your online use of CRIBIS’ business information services through the SkyMinder.com Web site. SkyMinder consists of credit, financial, and business information, and news about world-wide companies, industries, and countries. This information includes profiles about companies and business executives in the United States, Europe, and other countries around the world. The information is processed and stored in the United States.

This notice does not apply to the Web sites and independent practices of the CRIF Group and other companies affiliated with CRIBIS.

CRIBIS Corporation abides by the principles set forth in the Safe Harbor framework as set forth by the Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of data from the European Union.

The TRUSTe program covers only information that is collected through this Web site, and does not cover information that may be collected through software downloaded from the site.

The Information We Collect

When you register to use the SkyMinder information services, we collect personally identifiable information, including name, company name, address,
e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, fiscal code, position and department. We also collect information about your company, such as your company tax id number and internet address, as well as the type of business and size of the company.

When you register to the complete SkyMinder information collection, you also will need to provide us with additional information (e.g., credit card information) to purchase a deposit account to facilitate pay-per view transactional deductions.

For billing purposes, we also collect information about your use of our products and services, for example, information about the content you access through our service.

In addition, we collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit many of our Web pages such as the type of browser you are using (e.g., Netscape, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using, (e.g., Windows ’98 or Mac OS) and the domain name of your Internet service provider (e.g., America Online, Earthlink). This information also includes the URL that you just came from (whether this is on our site or not), which URL you go to next, and your IP address.

How We Use the Information

We use personally identifiable information to respond to your inquiries about our products and services, to deliver products and services, to administer individual accounts, to send you news and updates via e-mail and postal mail about our offerings (e.g.,seminars). From time to time, we also use this information to provide you with opportunities to purchase other products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. However, out of respect for our users privacy we provide a way to opt-out of these communications. Please see the choice and opt-out section.

In addition, we use the information you submit to enable you to express your interest in one of our career opportunities. We respond via email, mail or phone as appropriate. The information you submit is entered solely into our human resources database and stored for as long as someone is a subscriber and for seven years after termination or as long as necessary after termination to comply with tax and regulatory requirements.

We use the non-personally identifiable information that we collect to improve the design and content of our site and to enable us to personalize your Internet experience. We also use this information in the aggregate to analyze site usage.

We will disclose personally identifiable information in response to legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency’s request.

Additionally, in the event that all or substantially all of CRIBIS’ stock and/or assets are transferred or sold to another entity, CRIBIS will likely transfer personally identifiable information to the acquiring entity. Users will be notified via email or prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. If as a result of the business transition, the users’ personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection, they will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.

Sharing

We will not share personally identifiable information with third parties other than CRIBIS, and CRIF Group employees and other agents, consultants and contractors (e.g., credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services). These third parties who have access to personally identifiable information are required to protect this information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Notice by, for example, not using the information for any purpose other than to carry out the services they are performing for CRIBIS.

We share aggregated demographic information with outside third parties, including demographic data about the types of users of our service. This is not linked to, nor contains, any personally identifiable information.

Choices We Provide You

If you prefer not to receive marketing information from us, you can tell us by sending us an e-mail to the address listed below. Please note, however, that even if you chose not to receive marketing information from us, we will continue to provide you with important service announcements or billing information. However, these will not be promotional in nature.

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a materially different manner from that stated at the time of collection, we will notify you directly (e.g., via e-mail). You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. If you have terminated services/deactivated your account you will not be contacted, nor will your information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a notice on our web site notifying users of the change.
